PFS records management software packages can help you maintain the retention schedules for your organization's records. 

Our software allows you to set up multiple record series for your organization and attach each record to a record series.  The record series will contain information about the life cycle or the record such as:

How long is a record kept on site?
When can a record be archived?
How long must a record be kept before it can be destroyed?
Is retention based on the creation date or the last file activity?

These retention schedules can be departmentalized and linked to supporting citations or other documentation.

Once a record has passed its set retention date, our software has a built in destruction approval module to manage the destruction of the folder.
